The majestic Pyrenees reveal themselves to you. Often misunderstood, it is nevertheless a paradise for bikers, you are going to enjoy it. You will be surprised by the diversity of the panoramas crossed, from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, you will switch regularly between France and Spain, kilometers of beautiful curves, passages of famous passes without forgetting the very marked local flavors which will end up subjugating you. A new environment every day, a constantly renewed driving pleasure.
Day 1 | 265 km:
From Toulouse, on the way to the Corbières against a backdrop of Cathar castles. We get into the rhythm first from the heights of the Languedoc mountains. The green landscapes will give way to roads that wind between vineyards, deep gorges and rocky massifs. The dug road will be dizzying.
Day 2 | 295 km:
Access to the heart of the Pyrenees from the Pays Catalans. From the plateaus of Cerdagne, your first climb will be that of the Col de Puymorens at almost 2000m, the starting point of your sequence of the most beautiful ascents.
Day 3 | 225 km:
Today, the Hautes-Pyrénées and their famous passes, the essentials of the Tour de France: Peyressourde, Aspin, Tourmalet, Aubisque. Luckily you’re on a motorcycle. We take you to discover the magnificent setting of the Pyrenees, the Cirque de Gavarnie. A unique experience through a confidential itinerary.
Day 4 | 245 km:
Incursion into Spain this morning where the panoramas of the Pyrenees will change completely. Welcome to Aragon with its naturally sculpted relief and its more arid lands. Monastery and stone villages as a backdrop, you will end your day in a medieval city with a glass of Navarre wine in hand.
Day 5 | 280 km:
Another major pass in the Pyrenees this morning, the swaying from left to right will no longer hold any secrets for you. Then, quickly, you will be immersed in the beauties of the Basque Country. Softer shapes, the route will wind through high green pastures dotted with peaceful sheep. At the far east of your journey,
Euskal pilota, berets and white & red will be required here.
Day 6 | 315 km:
Great stage today to leave the Basque Country, you will follow the Pyrenees by its historic road and its breathtaking views before discovering the foothills of the Ariège Pyrenees. Route of cheese, pigeons, or spiritual, your day on a motorcycle will be varied. Your last pass of the day will be wooded with dominating fir trees before diving towards the capital of Ariège.
Day 7 | 245 km:
Return to the Pink City from the Ariège passes. From the ridge, the view will have nothing to envy to the highest peaks. Natural streams and stone houses will gradually give way to pink brick. A last break along the Canal du Midi in the shade of the plane trees and you will greet the barges.
